报告摘要：

Our Galaxy is bright in gamma-ray band. Those gamma-rays are mainly produced by the interaction of cosmic rays (CR) with the interstellar medium (ISM), thus can provide us important information on the origin of CRs and distribution of ISM. Recently, LHAASO detected 12 sources above 100 TeV and opened a new window of ultrahigh energy gamma-ray astronomy. I will talk about the implications of the recent LHAASO results and will also discuss the prospect of LHAASO and the other planned gamma-ray instruments .

报告人简介：

Prof. Ruizhi Yang got the Bachelor degree in theoretical physics in University of Science and Technology of China (USTC) in 2007. He obtained his PhD in Purple mountain observatory in 2013. After 6 years postdoc career in Max-plank-institute for nuclear physics in Heidelberg, Germany, he joined the department of astronomy in USTC. His research interests are gamma-ray astronomy and cosmic ray science.
